link Hie thee hence to the Fife & Drum blog and place your vote on what should be the next item to add to the AWI range: Artillery Crew Personalities Dragoons – either side Continentals variants More Militia There are 18 hours left to vote. Artillery crew and Personalities are running neck in neck! |

I voted for artillery crew and equipment, and here's why. The AWI had very little cavalry. By adding the guns, you will allow gamers to play most battles with your figures. It makes a bigger step toward a complete range than personalities would. |

I don't see any place to vote, but you need to do arty before you do anything else. |

I'm strongly leaning towards artillery crew (hint, hint). The prime directive in the range is to get the basics into production before going into secondary items or WOW things such as personalities and cavalry. |

So, Lord Rawdon's Volunteers of Ireland are pretty far down on the list? |

BTW, I love the Eureka "Molly Pitcher" artillerists, with 9 different figures in Summer Lounging dress. No coat, "just a little bit ragged"
hint hint |

john the OFM as I wish somebody would make us volunteers of Irland, other topics are already produced by other manufacturers Sure why not? All it takes is about $3,000 USD to get them started and at $2.00 USD a figure retail, you only need to sell 1,500 figures just to break even, much less make a tiny profit to reinvest in other figures in the range. Do you think that there is a market for that? As my daughter would say, "I'm not trying to be mean, but
" We offer the Brigade of Guards centre and flank company figures too. To my knowledge, no other range offers them in the 28-30mm size. Also, the British figures represent the army's campaign uniform rather than the 1768 regulation uniform. That is a bit different from what other ranges offer too. |

I might buy 12, maybe even 18 Volunteers of Ireland! To make a profit on that, you only need to find 99 more guys to do the same.
other topics are already produced by other manufacturers..
That is like saying "Why should Ford make sedans? Every other car manufacturer makes sedans." |

Sorry, English is not my mother tongue. John surely speaks impeccable French? Alte Fritz It is a desire on my part and not an obligation to produce for you. |
| cavcrazy | 05 Feb 2012 9:36 a.m. PST |
I say go for the artillery
.but thats just my opinion. |
John the OFM | 05 Feb 2012 9:43 a.m. PST |
No, I do not speak impeccable French. In fact, my Feench is VERY peccable. I was NOT attacking your English. I was merely saying that I see far too many complaints when a "new" manufacturer produces figures that are the backbone of an army. The fact that "other" companies make them is supposed to be a reason why Company B should not. It is like comnplaining that OFM Enterprises starts a new line of Napoleonics and begins with French Line 1815. Someone complains the they are not making Bavarian Kurassier Legere in 1809 uniform, or The Archbishopric of Wogastisburg-Schlempfenbeutel jaegers zu cheval. |

Sorry Rougeau, I was just trying to be a little bit tongue in cheek (humorous). It is ok to make suggestions, some of which I will give due consideration to. |

no problem Alte Fritz, I understand very well that you are looking for a model that it sells well, we are not of Chinese worked for a loss. |
