Which Dragon is the worst bet in a Warhammer game?

darthfozzywig03 Feb 2012 6:29 p.m. PST

The dragon that rolls ones.

Zombie dragon. If I recall it has a pretty weak breath weapon.

As far as models go, the current high elf dragon is awful.

"the current high elf dragon is awful"

So very true since it has to carry a High Elf on it.

Usually comes in at 600+ points which mean your normally vrey small army is even smaller.

Not sure, the zombie dragon I would think. I do like the black dragon of the dark elves.

What do elves get high on? I have visions of a meth lab in the Keebler elves' tree.

Any metal dragon that you have to put together – took weeks and numerous repairs and boundless epoxy, superglue etc to put together a Wood Elf Dragon.
Would much prefer any plastic one no matter how poor its stats might be – same goes for my older Wyvern – horns and tail constantly falling off.

In game: couldn't give a monkey's. Models: they're all pretty bad, but the High Elf dragon is one of the better, if only by sheer dint of being based on the old Dragonmasters dragon. Everything else is some terribly-posed, terribly-proportioned, terribly-detailed hack job that doesn't even have the saving grace of 'character'. Look at the Dark Elf dragon. What's it doing? Is it flying? Jumping? Floating like a barrage balloon? What sort of ways does it's hypothetical spine have to bend to achieve that pose? Etc. etc. rant rave complain.

Speaking of dragons….

Don't you think this guy should get reported to the RSPCA?

Poor little dragon! I suspect they all must be terrible. In the 6 years I've been playing I've never seen one fielded in casual or tourney games. I've seen other figures used over and over and OVER again, and I can confirm some of them are overpowered, but no dragons.
