A third edition of Blue Max! I'll be following this with interest as this is my favourite rules set for WWI air combat.

I paid out the butt for a mint condition, unpunched, copy of second edition Blue Max. One of the pest purchases I have made! I look forward to seeing what they do with the map for this edition.

I still have my second edition, and prefer it to Wings of War (although WoW is prettier!). I'll be interested to see what the new edition is like.

I have a mint copy of the 95 folder version of the game. My question is this…. If you guys love Blue Max, are you now playing Canvas Eagles? It is essentially the same game, but expanded and better… made for 3d miniature gaming.

Just my opinion…

Did anyone nottice that Hotz site for Canvas Eagles is down? Does this have somehting to do with the game being re-released?

Poniatowski16 Feb 2012 5:48 a.m. PST

OK…. so no one answered… the page is indeed back up.
I was worried that I would have to go and play the new Blue Max….
