STOP PRESS! British AWI Figures Arrived
I came home from work today and noticed a rather large and heavy box waiting for me in the front vestibule. I knew in an instant what it was -- the arrival of the British centre company and grenadier company figures from the caster.

Oh sweet monkeys -- these are gorgeous!!!!!!

I don't have time to post pictures this evening, for I'll be sorting figures and assigning stock numbers to each pose. I will post the stock numbers on my Fife & Drum blog tonight.

fifedrumminis.blogspot.com

Click on the link to the Fife & Drum blog page for more information. I will have pictures posted on that site by Friday along with the new stock numbers.

More later, I've got some work to do.

Those are very good indeed.

Nice to see figures that are more realistically proportioned than most.

They're looking good Jim

Very nice…I'm glad to see the proper campaign uniforms are now starting to become mainstream for AWI minis!!!

Almost makes me sad my stuff is 15mm….

So I take it that they will be only in shouldered musket pose only then.

The Grenadiers come in either marching or firing or advancing poses. The infantry, for now, are all marching. We also offer British light figures in all manner of firing and skirmishing poses.

Personally, I prefer firing figures because that is what they do in battle. However, experience tells me that the majority of potential consumers prefer the marching poses, so that is what I tend to release first. But given my own preferences, firing poses are not too far away.

I should also add that the Continentals have firing, loading and at the ready poses (in addition to marching) as do the militia.
