So what is the biggest Con? I mean number of games, dealers, flee market, etc? Does Europe have any big Con's? |

Based on attendance, there's an argument to made for PAX, both Prime and East. The counter argument is of course that these are primarily video game cons with traditional role-play, mini, board and card games as an add-on. Attendance has been in excess of 60,000 for both shows the last two years. For the converse, the biggest in the US is undoubtedly GenCon. It is of course, a role-play, mini, board and card games con with video games as an add-on. Attendance floats around 35,000. In Europe (and the world), I think the biggest is the Spiel show in Essen, Germany. Attendance for this show are north of 100,000 every year. |

what about Comic-Con? or Gen-con for the US? (I was SOOOOO tempted to say 'the last election', but I managed to restrain myself!)
Slishfully, Sgt DWW-btod (no, my name isn't 'Chad') |

I think he is getting a a convention that centers on minis/rpg gaming. Comicon will not count, as its based on comics
Gencon for the USA. Take your pick

What, no one was going to vote for the biggest con in gaming being the release of new rules editions every couple of years? I do NOT live in a basement, fyi. For the US: Games inclusive- PAX (pick which, as they are about the same size) Games focused- GenCon Minis Focused- Historicon? |
| Jay Arnold | 02 Feb 2012 7:49 p.m. PST |
I'd wager more people attend GW's Games Day than Historicon. Between GW and HMGS-East, I doubt reliable attendance data is available. |

GWs plastic will lower the cost has my vote. Historicon for second place. |

Not the Brooklyn Bridge, but Social Security. I think GenCon if you are asking for non-computer gaming. Rob |

I've been to Games day several times and H-con, but I think over all H-con seemed bigger. I think Games Day seems big since everyone is all in one place and all during a 8-10 hour period, compared to H-con which has people spread out and attending over 4 days. I would vote for h-con. My 2 cents. |
