In terms of skill, somewhat variable depending on period. I am quite good at set piece attacks in WW1 and WW2 and Soviet Cold War offensive operations. I seem to be having a bad run at nineteenth century stuff and with Ancients I am middling.

For which game?

Depends.

I'm a terrible player. I don't try to weasel the rules, and I consider whether I would, for example, run out into the open if I was the figure. I don't look for obscure exceptions to the rules to screw my opponent over. I hope that my opponent is thinking the same way and is getting more enjoyment out of the game than the result.

Of course, when I run into the officious malcontent who is there to win at all costs, I make it my goal in life to not only defeat them, but to do it with elan and in the most complete way ever witnessed by anyone on Earth.

I like to think I am a decent bloke at the table, but my tactics and dice rolling stink.

5 in terms of win ratio.
2 in terms of luck with dice.

About 7 on attack,10+ on defense

5 if we are going for winning… but I also enjoy underdog scenarios and playing the losing side. The recent comments about Tomorrows War scale imbalance between skill/tech levels has me really wanting to play a game with the lowest skill vs the highest with me playing the low guys!

When I lose I'll do it with a smile on my face and kudos to my opponent – so a 10 in that.

My dice are horrible on the average and hot on the long shot Grots VS a greater Deamon…. Yes I will win that fight with my Grots… all my elite oh they will die to the terrain, misfires, and poor armour saves! So a 2(3 for longshots)

Supplying the games, board, and figures I am a 9 but would sometimes like to be a 5 :)

10 for being there for the game.
9 for looking after the miniatures.

6 for knowing/interpreting the rules.
5 for losing/winning.

and that's as far as I wish to descend ;-)

Rules Knowledge – 8-9 (good but not encyclopedic)
Rules Synthesis – 7 (some optimization, but nowhere near some people I know)

Are we talking winning/losing or are talking about sportsmanship?

My win/loss record kind of evens out. I'm sometimes very bad, (maybe a 2 or 3) most often I am fair (like a 6 or 7), and on a few, rare, glorious moments, I am a living god (10).

If we're talking sportsmanship, I'm a solid 10. I always put on a clean shirt before the game and generally try to avoid committing obnoxious hygienic faux pas. I'm deferential, friendly and patient. I treat other people's figures the way I'd want mine treated. I never yell, lose my cool, or throw things. It's just a game, after all.

Somewhere between 1-6, 1-8, 1-12, 1-20, depending on the dice

I am an excellent player, good sport, read rules, bring painted figs, dice terrain; I just don't win very many games. It's about camaraderie not winning.

Unrated at this time but could eventually end up a PG or PG13, depending upon the rating committee.

Depends on the genre but I'd say 5 to 7 depending, tactically. As far as gamesmanship, closer to a 9 though the occasional opponent does try my patience.
