I'm quite impressed with what I see coming out of Russia these days. Great figure painting.

I have always stated Russia gave us some of the best music in the Napoleonic period (and later), now I have to say it is giving us some of the best painted Napoleonic miniatures. I am very very impressed (and knowing how picky I am with the usual TMP galleries this is a enormous endorsement on my part).

Love the subtleness of the shading and faces.

Beautiful work. Since the artillery rammer is bent (slightly), please ask for the full battery to be sent to me immediately for free repair. Note, no mention of return has been made. : )

Der Voize,
Have you ever thought of doing commission work?

Amazing, the horses look as though they can actually move.

Wow,
Simply amazing.

I really think the OP should give us some details of how they took such good photos.

Camera, lens, macro ? distance, lighting, backdrop etc etc.

Too many galleries on here are just a blur of nice looking figures, on which it is hard to see the painting detail. (no disrespect to anyone who has ever posted figures on here.)
