Good job for a first try. Don't give up on painting the destroyers though. One thing to try for small models is a glasses-mounted magnifier, like "Opticaid". MH |

Looking good. BTW, Miniature Market sells Axis & Allies ships, which are 1/1800 scale. I didn't see any 1/3000. MH |

hindsTMP, I work across the street from their warehouse/retail space. They have some crazy priced discontinued and auction stuff in there. These are from the 70s and were a dollar a piece. $1 USD! This explains why, as well that I have no Bismark and a few other notables. Because they just have some random left overs. However, they have several more remaining. I just wasn't sure what I was looking for
since this is a new genre of miniatures for me. I used my Naval Thunder Scenario lists to start me off. Basically, I'll just play some random scenarios at first. |
