I started to spread the projects out a little since starting Napoleonics in 15mm. Here is my first attempt at period creep into the wonderful world of 18th Century Imagi-Nation armies.
This one is modelled on the Prussian 1st Infantrie Regt, having the same facings and flag, etc. More details here : link |

Not only the hat lace, but the lace can be seen on the cuffs and lapels. Good work. I enjoyed yuur blog, especially the modular terrain made on canvas art panels. Cheers, |

Very nicely done, sir. I hope mine turn out as well in 28mm! |

Nicely done! As noted, my 28s should look so good! You know, you must eventually do IR40 |

Thanks guys, thats really encouraging feedback. They are fun to paint, and its a welcome diversion from my never ending Napoleonics project (500+ regiments, almost 9 months of work so far, and I have hardly made a dent yet. Another 10+ years of work to complete that project I think) IR40 – they did catch my eye, so they are on the queue. I have a bottle of Vallejo purple sitting on the shelf that hardly ever gets used
looking fwd to doing that one. To do it correctly though, I should do them all in strict sequence, so it may take a while to get to IR 40. (and then there is the French, the Austrians, the Reichsarmee, the Russians, the Brits, etc, etc). Big thanks to the people who put kronoskaf together too – what a brilliant resource that site is ! |

Do whichever regiment you like. I have 1 and 40 IR in my ranks; 8 musketeer and 4 fusilier regiments. Cant miss out on the fusiliers as they have some fun colors and combinations. This was one of my favorite armies to do. |
