ChicChocMtdRifles you let your 12 year old post on TMP without adult supervision! How are we suppose to know how old someone is? What were you thinking? Start out with the sentence "Hi my name is Johnny and I am 12 years old and I have a question
" I think you would have had a completely different response. TMP is a pretty tough crowd for someone that age. Is there a board on TMP for kids to post on to talk about historical wargaming? |

rallynow, my boy, you are quoting me as having said things I didm't say. I never said how old the boy is, and he did it with out my knowing about it till it was a done deal. Yes, if he'd been upfront about it things problly woulda been better. But, he wanted to appear grown up. He has apologised a gazillion times to me because I have to put up with folks such as you. I've said all I'm going to on this subject. If you have to continue to be ignorant, do so with my blessings. Chipi'slacho' |

ChicChocMtdRifles said: Would they have tried for Canada? Would they have been allowed in? Would they have been denied? This whole deal should've been marked as an alternitive reality as opposed to what-if. He's only 12. |

But, how was anybody here to know that? Sure it is cool to try to set at the big table. But unless somebody knows who you are, you get treated like an adult. Both when you do good, and when you dont. We also have adults on here that dont make very good arguments, or have very good ideas. They get stepped on to. That is the sort of place it is. Not unlike tring to smoke, or taking that big first slug of whiskey. You kind of get thumped. But you take your lumps and move on. Part of learning, part of growing up. My kids have done stuff like this, though not on a gaming forum. And they get squashed from time to time. My line to them, if you are big enough to give it a try you are big enough to take your lumps. Most here will probably cut a 12 year old some slack, but not when the 12 year old in question is mascarading as an adult. Owen |

Yes exactly the point I made earlier. Start out by saying "Hello I am 12 years old and I would like too say
" And yes ChicChocMtdRifles you did say he is 12 years old. See quote above. By starting out that way you probably won't get your head ripped off and handed to you. Although I have a general policy of no new boards, I kinda like my idea of having a kids only board. How you would enforce such a thing is the problem. Maybe not such a good idea after all. Kids stay away, stay far away! |

Make much more snse if he attempted to get, in was let in, and Britain was attacekd by US persuing forces. aIy sets in motion a war between US and Britain who could end up VBringing in France (Maximillianese Mexico), they end up against Prussia, who fights Austria, brining Russia gainst them. Yes, that is a more realisti c idea. |
