Hey all!

Just wanted to mention I bought most of the things I need for my 15mm Moderns project (not counting the vehicles.) Troops, buildings, and a touch of terrain. Would love to hear opinions on my building selection! I DO plan to do the interiors, albeit very simply… some rugs to for detail, but mainly brown balsa blocks to represent cover. I think it should work in the end.

I also included a photo of some of my older 15mm ACW figures… they do bring back some memories!:) I THINK they are Minifig, but am not entirely sure… anyone?

Anyway… come on by and take a peek!

I think they will look good with the layout you showed earlier, interested in seeing how the town looks when finished

Good luck with the project – I look forward to seeing some completed units/buildings!

Been said before -but that is a great table design!

Those flags are HUGE! They must have needed some powerful biceps on windy days…

laugh They are big, obviously… but call it artistic license; I wanted to make sure they were very visible on the table, because nothing looks as good as rows of flags!:)

I'm also thinking… the buildings don't have floors. I want to obviously HAVE floors. Would plastic card cut to the footprint of the buildings be best? Or should I cut it so it fits INSIDE the footprint of the building?

I have some persian rugs on my blog that you can use. Just print them and use them.

Hey!

Hah, those look similar to some ones I got from Adventures in Lead! May need to use them!:) Thanks!

That looks like a nice selection of buildings for the new project. I'm looking forward to seeing more on this. I had bought one of the GameCraft 28mm Western buildings and forgot to order one of their floors. The floors are designed to go inside the walls. I don't particularly like that about them. It's not as strong that way. I prefer my buildings resting on top of the floor.

There are floors to order?! I didn't see them! Argh. Would have saved some work if I had. But yeah, I agree sitting on the floor does add some strength.
