Here in this new year of the Dragon and 2012 I was in the shower thinking about projects. I have been cleaning and looking at the past decades swag and purchases and MAN that is a lot of lead.

So I propose that for every Vehicle there needs to be the guys who ride it and drive it.

So from here on out Every vehicle I build/buy I have to do the crew and riders.

So I give y'all

The Year of the Dragon Pimp my Crew and Ride Pledge.

Very cool idea! I'm going to try something similar this year… maybe not every single vehicle, but my favorite armies are going to receive some bail-out crew members.

Planned projects:

Army: Rebel Titan Marines with Old Crow Grav tanks
-Vehicle crew: Rebel Titan Scouts

Army: Micropanzer SAS infantry with GZG light tracks
-Vehicle crew: GZG Hammer's Slammers

Army: Rebel Earthforce Homeguard & Rebel tracks:
-Vehicle crew: RAFM Planetary Militia

Hopefully some of these paint jobs will be generic enough that I could use them in other forces.

I am just going to continue to work on the mountain of miniatures that need painting. grin

My pledge is to finish my 'Public Security Section 9' force for Infinity, with all the conversions and names.

Then I will think about bigger projects, like my 15mm forces.

Holy cow, if I need crew for all of my vehicles I would be in very bad shape!

I'll keep painting what I have since there is more than enough to work on.

Does anybody make sci fi vehicle crews in 15mm?

Farstar30 Jan 2012 10:14 a.m. PST

The GZG NAC Command pack is all appropriate.

I think my pledge would be, for each army that I own enough figs to field a reasonably-sized force for, I will get a reasonably-sized force at least table-ready.

15mm is cheap, which is why it's *real* easy to buy a whole lot very quickly.

Ok, I should have pointed out that I tend to build a vehicle at a time, not units.

If I where doing units I would probably do a number of bailed out figures al'a Flames-of-War…. (for which I was figuring out how to make drop-in troop loads for open toped transports (did consider two each of each vehicle one with one without troops two)).

This is a cool idea. I think I'll do this for my new Rebel Minis mecha army. Time to order some Earth Force Infiltrators for my Vipers grin
