A very difficult build:

Nice review cheers, I have the T34's which were as you say a little tricky at first to assemble, I tend to keep all those extra scraps of metal from assembling minis so I use these in the bottom of the tanks to give them a little weight.

But you can't argue with the quality and especially the price.

I would hardly call them a very difficult build! That really is utter nonsense!

@collin: Considering the effort required and in comparison to other kits of its size, I stand by it being a difficult build. YMMV. I never said it was a bad kit just very time-consuming.

Well, we will have to disagree on that one; I found them to be utterly simple to assemble.

I cut my teeth in 1/35 scale models. These are simple, in comparison!

Nice review.

Filling the sink hole on the gun is actually very simple. A small bit of gap filling super glue, which is self leveling, will do nicely. Let set about 15 minutes or so and then should sand nicely if necessary. Waiting over an hour and the filing (once again if necessary) becomes a chore.

Good review with quality pictures spread well.
Although I found them very simple to put together considering the effort and time required for a comparable 1:76 kit.
I have built this 5 tank set and they took me around the same time to assemble as the 1:76 airfix 88mmm gun and Sd Kfz7 kit.
For entry level modellers the kit compared to Battlefront miniatures is a slog so It is a valid point .

Although I did come via the military modelling route I'd not built a plastic kit for 20 years before getting PSC Shermans, first one taught me a few lessons, now I can put them together as fast, if not faster, than metal/resin models. Will be getting some of these when I get round to Panzer Kompanie Mielke for Market Garden. Thanks for the review.
