At the end of December, taking advantage of free shipping and trying to get in before the price increases, my friends and I placed an order with JR Miniatures. We very much like their product and have quite a bit of roads, rivers and buildings from them.
On the 19th of this month the order arrived but one cobblestone crossroad was missing. I sent an email to them. Not hearning anything for a week I sent a follow on email. I heard back from Nancy immediately. She said the original email had gotten buried but instead of excuses said it was their fault and they were very sorry.
She said the crossroads would be sent along with two cobblestone straight sections as an apology!
They could have easily have offered excuses, end of year, number of orders taking advantage of the free shipping, impending price increase. Instead they took full responsibility, apologized, and made it right. This is refreshing when in all too many cases others offer only excuses.
We have and of course will continue to buy JR Miniatures due not only to the quality but also outstanding customer service like this. Thank you Nancy.
