Remember WizKids' stab at this idea about ten years back? The Shadowrun "action figure" game? Think there were eight models released altogether, some quite well done.

Our line of Toy Battle System games is designed to be used with action figures of all sorts as well as standard miniatures.

I have been gaming with action figures for well over 10 years now. Every year the selection of toys suitable for gaming gets better and better.

Wow! What rules are you going to use, and what figs did you use as a starting point?

The smaller GI Joes could be used for Inquisitor as it stands, couldn't they? Near enough to 54mm as I recall.

Good idea anyway.

tardy – I always forget this forum doesn't notify you of replies!

'Small' GI Joes? Not sure I know of these? GI Joes are 3 3/4inch 95mm 1/18th scale; 54mm is 1/32nd scale, the size of Airfix etc.

Do playmobils count? I wouldn't suggest getting into them (especially in number, cause they're expensive) but if you have some lying about (or a TON lying about, they were quite popular over here so now we've got more than enough to use for all RPG purposes as well as smaller skirmish games.

One of the locals used to do Old West barroom brawls at conventions with appropriately kitted Barbie and Ken.

I've been ithcing to do some superhero gaming with cheap(ish) Japanese Gashaphons. Depending on action figures, they may be around the same size (being roughly 10cm in height). Maybe I'll cave in some day and do it as a demo game at a local con. Other than that, I doubt I can really justify it.
