I started assembling the Imperial Roman Army starter box from Warlord games and I ran into a small speed bump. There is a small round shield included on the legionaries sprue. I also found a head that is a bit different on the veteran sprue, I assume goes with the fellow that gets the round shield. Can some tell me a little about who gets the round shield. thanks in advance. K |

The small shield is used by a Vexillarius standard bearer, who would wear animal skin headgear. I can only guess the head you have found is perhaps a variant for the Centurion. Regards, TC. |

The different head is wearing a 'parade mask'. Suitable for a standard bearer. |

My other head is always getting in trouble. John |

That other head is mine! Send it over quick. I can't get a thing done without it. |

What jamesonsafari said. The picture on the box of regular legionaries that I have shows the standard bearer wearing the "parade mask". |
