GW's new Mortis engine . I picked up my first White Dwarf in years to read about it . A well done model .

Anyone know who the wizard (third pic) is?

I assume a GW figure but my googlefu is weak tonight…

That Vampire Ghost Sled thingy looks awesome but impractical, I can't imagine it surviving one match without breaking something off… How to you transport such a fragile monstrosity?!? Put it in a box and fill it with wax or hot butter?

Tango0127 Jan 2012 12:08 p.m. PST

Agree with you Cherno, it would be difficult, BUT… do you imagin that piece with your Army in a wargame?.
How would look your Army in contrast with the others? (smile)

I dunno. If that thing is part of your set up, your supporting units will look really tiny, unless you have hundreds of skeletons to back it up.

Loving the promotion Tango01 ;)

the wizard is a GW necromancer, in the vampire counts range, and the mortis engine is a great looking kit but impractical with regards to storage!

Happy for that Ant!.

Uhh, maybe I am just getting old but so much of the last few years of GW stuff has just left me cold. It all seems just 'too much.' Reminds me of going to an all-you-can-eat place when you aren't really that hungry!
I suppose that Mortis thing is a cool model but I cannot imagine putting it on a table. Maybe that is part of the current sales strategy? Fragile things get broken and need to be replaced! :)
Regardless, thanks for the pics/links Tango01.

A pleasure for me Mike!
