Do you have a game that you enjoy that is really different than what you are usually known for playing? Example: You are known as a Napoleonics gamer but from time to time you enjoy a game of Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon.

Gunslinger games.

I play Ancient, Medieval or LOTR games. For the most part, I am disinterested in miniature games portraying gun violence.

Perhaps I listened to one too many Waylon and Willie songs as a kid, but I like shoot-em-up cowboy games.

AK47 (classic)

I play historical games, preferably driven by actual scenarios, and generally stopping with the end of WW2.

AK47 is politically 'not quite correct', has only a tenuous connection to actual events and real weapons effect (it would be even less politically correct if it were more authentic) and the games are all imaginary.

I excuse myself by terming it 'semi-historical' :O)
(a bit like 'myth gaming', which is not, of course, fantasy …) …

Better shut up, now (the hole is already big enough)…

Phil :)

I tend to throw myself into character to an embarassing level … at least embarassing to everyone who knows me.
