Hello,

So, Ive been making even more progress with my 3mm figs from O8, and Im hoping to get in some games with them soon. I'm also amost done with my painted convas map with modeled houses, fields and fences. However, I just saw an ad for pre-made maps on the TMP homepage.

I was wondering if there is a company out there who does non-hex maps that they can scale to order? I mean, say I give them a ground scale to work with, can they make me a map of, say, Gettysburg or some such at that scale? For ease of basing I'm doing 60mm = 96m=48 figs=300 men. It lets me use the 20mm, 8 man strips without having them break them up, which is a pain. Does such a product exist, or should I stick to making my own maps?

You can always print them at Kinko's. That's how I got my Gettybsurg map at the scale 1cm=100 yards.

If you have the Gettysburg map, then yes getting it printed to a specific size is reasonably simple.

(I say reasonably as there are issues with formats etc.)

You want a sign printer with a large format inkjet.

Or email me at freddbloggs (at) live (dot) co (dot) uk and I can hook you up with one.
