Not the first person to have questioned the lightsaber sound effects. For a slightly more sophisticated take on the film: YouTube link |

Best argument FOR SOPA I have seen yet. I actually like this film. Its the most epic of all the SW films. Que the haters

Did you notice that Queen Amidala will go along with absolutely anything her beautician suggests? |
Chef Lackey Rich | 23 Jan 2012 8:42 a.m. PST |
Best argument FOR SOPA I have seen yet. SOPA couldn't touch either of those. Parody is a protected species, and Mike & his boys are okay with people putting up Rifftrax clips anyway. Did you notice that Queen Amidala will go along with absolutely anything her beautician suggests? I know plenty of people who follow that course of action in real life. |

The voice of the reviewer on the second link is almost as annoying as parts of the film. The film is okay. You just don't get the feeling that the characters come to life. Seriously, watch the first released films and you will see some realistic character interaction

I used to think Mystery Science Theater was alright. But the Riff trax are just annoying. |

You know
I have problems to take that SOPA thing seriously
"SOPA" in Spanish means "Soup". A law called Soup sounds sooo ridiculous

Okay, so you prefer classic riffs and you want soup references. No problem. YouTube link The bizarre host segments really did make that show superior. |

Maybe the title of this thread was spoken by Yoda? Yoda: Allow this appointment lightly, the council does not. Disturbing is this move by Chancellor Palpatine.
Anakin Skywalker: I understand. |

What the world really needs is a movie where Bizzaro, Yoda, and Yogi Berra sit around a restaurant for two hours having a conversation. Lou Costello plays their waiter, of course. |
flooglestreet | 24 Jan 2012 9:02 a.m. PST |
And Bud Abbot runs the diner! A top banana needs a straight. And Beetlepuss Lewis does the Mexican bankroll gag while these cuties YouTube link strut their stuff! We can call it "My Dinner with Irma the Body" Bud and Lou can do "How do you get to Floogle Street?" with Lili St. Cyr for a talking woman. Hubba Hubba |

The one part of the prequel trilogy I will defend is the political subplot. And the Sith plot to overthrow the Republic with a trumped-up war is highly keen, and the groundwork is laid out in this film. That being said, even adding Christopher Lee can't undo the horror that is
pod racing. |
billthecat | 27 Jan 2012 11:37 a.m. PST |
Yep, that's why people watch StarWars, for the politics

I mean, Boss Nass!" "We don' need ta hep da surface folks. Dey always stickin dey noses in where dey don't belong. Well, it make no nevah mind ta me if dey gets cut down ta size," says Boss "Kingfish" Nass. |

I know, I know, Cappy, you've got a love for Phantom Menace -- and of the 3 prequels its about the only one worth watching. However, Lucas' use of some totally overt sterotypes was crazy!! Gungans -- happy natives and black dudes Trade Federation -- evil asian dudes Watto – greedy arab/jewish dude |
