Each race/army page has been updated with a table at the bottom listing Damsel troop type, manufacturers (if any – please send in others), and army list book numbers.

Useful addition to an inspirational site: thanks!

Seemingly the links to Excalibur are broken.

Bothering work indeed, but it would be good to have the name or reference code of the 'intended' minis (Excalibur?).

The RAFM Dark Elf / Spider 'centaur' is male, yet I'm sure I saw a female version (decades ago, truth to tell…)?
Artremis Black has female Dark elves, but heavily armored

The Maidenhead 'Babes that Time Forgot' (and more generally 'Cavegirls in fur bikini' cavegirlwargaming.blogspot.com ) deserve an additional tribe!

Aksakal23 Jan 2012 5:13 a.m. PST

Way back when book 2 came out hasslefree (one them…) had some suitable stuff but it is too much of a confusion to find them.

I didn't link to images directly… kind of uneasy about IP issues with some of the companies i don't know directly. I use GW stuff for the Fae, then there's rackham's death -the Sessairs big sword girls could have been used as Bonvair Sword Mistresses.

If anyone out there would like to 'licence' a damsel type ;)

excalibur links still think they're going to my site… fixed. the tables will be slowly organic.

Need to pull out my maidenhead and go through their site again. Also need a range of winter queens – fur hats, sleds, werewolves.

Wow! These Amazonas Oscuras were great!
OOP, unfortunately?

And btw e-minis looks like a very interesting (and easy to navigate) source of figurines, some not widely known.

Wonder if Raging Heroes 'Eleriel & Alaniel'

could fit in the Aryiki World?

Raging Heroes newsletter:
"And finally, we are also working on our first large-size unit. It will have 10 minis, all female, and, of course, all evil. We'd like to have them out in February…"
Hope the 'size' refers to the numerical strength of the unit, NOT to the individual minis!

monash191627 Jan 2012 12:06 a.m. PST

I wondered about Eleriel&Alaniel too, but could not find a way to fit them in "my" Aryiki armies…which does not mean there isn't any room for them somewhere in that world of course.
But I like them and might purchase them anyway some day :-)

I did not know Raging Heroes. I am very curious about their new female unit which will be released in February. Will keeping an eye on them.

By the way, Freebooter might have some suitable miniatures for Aryiki as well.

Also need a range of winter queens – fur hats, sleds, werewolves.

"Logically" (!) they would be entirely covered with thick furs: fitting neither with Aryiki 'atmosphere' nor with its climate, according to the 'light dress' thumbs up of all other tribes.
Better to limit yourself to cave girls in fur bikini(°)

back from cancon. no shadowforge presence ..? Did pick up Freebooters Fate (have Pirate Queen figure from a while back that I would use for Warmachine as a Satyxis). Nice production values, but a few publishing errors.

the dark age gals fit nicely with the sadomax Unseelie (bk 2). I'll link them in.

The Sable (fur hat girls): if it were kosher I have the perfect, well, the inspiration, that would dispell your fears.

What about an army list building ideas thread for maidenhead? Barbarians (vs Sable)

Calvalcade Wargames started a Meso-American looking range which could be the nucleus of a very original tribe, but unfortunately the range is currently limited to 3 figurines:

Maybe some *light* Tekumel types thetekumelclub.blogspot.com will be produced, which could complement the Calvalcade?

Getting a lot of inspiration here :-)
Especially like the blood mistresses and the Circle Orboros Amazons. To bad the latter have pointy ears, and quite expensive too when you want some decent sized units…

I also have some naked germans from Black Tree which I bought ages ago.
I am using them as expendable slave hordes to soften up the enemy. They are controled on the battlefield by some female slave drivers. I think the bloodmistresses could be of some assistance there :-)

Aksakal03 Feb 2012 7:24 p.m. PST

The cavalcade models are exceptional.
