One of my favourite battles! Far more equal than Tsushima, as the Russian Pacific Fleet was in good shape, and quite competitive in gunnery; if their shells had been better, Mikasa and Asahi might well have bought the farm. I hadn't realized that Adm. Dewa's armoured cruisers had attempted to engage Vitgeft's battleships. A gutsy move that also could've paid dividends, if proper coordination could've been accomplished. One more note on the battle: I believe the Russians were under the impression that the Japanese battleship Yashima was still afloat and in Togo's line; had they known of their 6-to-4 superiority, they may well have been more willing to go toe to toe. Thanks for sharing. |

Great aar, as usual! What a pity for the Russians your son was not present on that day, things might have turned out a bit differently. August 10 is one of my favorite battles as well, with a little bit better luck the Russians might well have made it past the Japanese. But, you never know

GREAT-looking game and pics, afilter! I'm assuming that the markers are Litko's? They certainly "pop-out" the action of the scenario! Thank you very much for sharing! |

.yes the markers are Litko. I have most of the readily availble ones as well as a few customs for my Naval Thunder games. |
