I would love these in 15mm…

AVAMANGO21 Jan 2012 3:01 a.m. PST

Quite a few members have been enquiring about figures wearing tight fitting body suites for a while now and these would fit that description perfectly. They are just whats needed to cover a whole host of roles from specialty characters to VTOL/fighter pilots or simply Manga style space babes, or in my case I would use them as Mech Warriors, so I second the motion of getting something along these lines put into 15mm production.

They are also wearing nanoweave body armour a la Mass Effect.

PF is probably the man to do it!

Yeah, I'd like some figures for cleaner sci-fi… like dystopian near future, Infinity, etc.

infojunky21 Jan 2012 4:04 a.m. PST

I forgot to mention I would like some Males in these sorta outfits as well…

McWong7321 Jan 2012 4:21 a.m. PST

…I'll get my coat…

I would like to see 15mm figs in the Infinity 28mm style too.

Something like these perhaps:

TamsinP they are a good start….

I forgot to mention I would like some Males in these sorta outfits as well…

Indeed i just took that for granted and simply asumed that a mixed selection of genders would be made availible in a single pack.

If anyone's listening to requests, how about a bunch of unarmed civilians consultants/scientists… who just happen to bear resemblance to a certain rogue Gallifreyan and/or his assistants?

Don't forget that Rebel's EF Infiltrators are excellent for this.

Agreed, but I need more females than males, for the Moonbase staff in shiny aluminum, with purple wigs…..

Infiltrators are great if you want the 'armored' version of this, like mass effect. But for the 'skin tight clothing' look black widows fit the bill a bit better.

Honestly I'd never wear anything like that (I'm a man), it looks incredibly uncomfortable.

But women wear stuff like this already, at least some times. So maybe I'm just not futuristic enough… or even in the future skin tight suits (at least without something over it with actual pockets) are mostly the domain of women.

Of course in space I'm an advocate for skintight space suits for technical reasons, but you'd wear something over it with a bit of armor and tool carrying ability.

'Wouldn't mind seeing some 15mm Modesty Blaise type figures available:

Or Aeon Flux perhaps.

I see the one in the blue boots and think "Mega Man."

So now I have the theme music from Mega Man II rampaging through my head.

Mako1121 Jan 2012 7:28 p.m. PST

Yes, the Black Widows would work.

I just wish there were more poses of them, and can do without the capes.

LordNth22 Jan 2012 4:23 a.m. PST

I'm all for some anime inspired figures and poses in 15mm

Dropship Horizon22 Jan 2012 8:24 a.m. PST

Yes, the Black Widows would work.

Not for me, I prefer something less LS Lowry and more Infinity.

I'd like to see some Infinity-inspired figures too.

In the meantime, I wonder if we could talk Rebel Mike into having the Earthforce Infiltrators converted to bare heads? Martin Baker did a great job making three head variants from the Earthforce Marine masters, so I think it would be feasible.

I hear ya mako. Just re-did my UFO game site werelords.com/ufo/index.htm and 15mm (or 28mm) ladies as described would go down a bomb. Well, weith me any rate…

So we are agreed that Men and Women in near Skinsuits would be nice?

Komorigumo26 Jan 2012 1:04 p.m. PST

I think Rebel Minis has a great offering of women and men in near skinsuits… the afore mentioned Black Widows and the Infiltrators rebelminis.com/eafoin.html. I think with a headswap, the Infiltrators would be pretty much right on the money… though they still do not have the manga-mecha look of the OP's first image.

infojunky27 Jan 2012 3:56 a.m. PST

Komorigumo yes they will do in a pinch, but the key to expanding selection is to ask for what you want.

And to be honest Rebel's one-off Spy in the moderns is closer to what I was thinking for men…

Komorigumo31 Jan 2012 7:30 a.m. PST

A good point, and well taken. I was coming from the direction that if figures already exist that are – more or less – what we are aking for, it would be good for the hobby as a whole to support what is already in production. Not to say that you are not! That's just where my thoughts immediately went. But you make a valid point too. And if we don't ask, we definitely won't get what we want.
