Im looking at setting up a scenario for quatre bras and I have mostly AB British, Brunswickers and French allready. Wondered if any alternatives out there I could use? Id prefer the taller 18mm sized figures like AB.

AA, maybe just wait a little while and you won't need alternatives to AB

I'm led to understand that AB themselves will be expanding their range to cover the Dutch & other nationalities very shortly.

If you need them now, you should look at Campaign Games Miniatures.

NOoooooooo, not a Waterloo range again

Ill look at CGM

and thanks the heads up with AB news. Good news indeed

You should certainly have a serious look at CGM. They do all arms of the Dutch-Belgian army, and the Nasseurs, and they do look good, they are not out of place next to AB figures, and are nowhere near as expensive.

Blue Moon are beginning to release their napoleonic range. Not the same style as AB, but nice.

I stock the basic CGM packs here in the UK – bit.ly/hejl4a

I've seen the AB MINIATURES Dutch Belgian Carabiniers; AWESOME!

Are they in the correct bicorn (1st and 3rd) and helmet (2nd)?

baxterj21 Jan 2012 1:55 p.m. PST

Just the helmet variant thus far, but the others will follow.

The CGM stuff looks nice as well. I didn't realize that they were around.

Can recommend the CGM range. I purchased the Brunswick figures a while back and they were very good.
