I've just bought this Matchbox SWAT car for my 15mm sci-fi
After some internet research I found that design of this SWAT vehicle is very close to turkish MRAP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MRAP) Kirpi BMC 350-16. SO I want to paint it in desert camouflage colours.
Now have a look at real vehicle.

Now MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) have painted in flat base colour of Tausept Ochre. Next step will be camouflage painting, washin, drybrushing and highligting. As you can see this matchbox MWAP is very big, but compare it to real life turkish Kirpi. Its ENORMOUS!

When I finish it I'll use it for my 15mm sci-fi as command/attach/mobile home car for my sci-fi mercs.

By the way, I am wandering does turkish troops use different helmets for field and parade uniform.

Im keeping mine back for the Combat Battalion to be used as an APC, i still need to buy a couple of Matchbox Cougar to use as high mobility patrol vehicles to acompany it though…

Just found the Matchbox Buffalo MRCV locally. Very close to 1:100 scale and quite the bruiser.
