The Stikks have a heavy legged, articulated armoured vehicle that the Federation calls the Skuttler. It's sometimes called a tank because it can certainly serve that purpose, mounting two very heavy lasers in the "head," but the Stikks do not distinguish the roles of tank and personnel carrier, and the Skuttler can carry up to three soldiers inside each segment as well. JBR designed the kit. It's basically on the pattern of a centipede, as I think giant centipedes are very deadly and very cool. It has a separate head and tail, then separate middle segments that can be posed. The legs are one piece, but the way they attach to the body segments they have lots of posability too. I built this one and Chris Yaro painted it. It's a little tricky to build and requires a bit of thought, but I actually really enjoyed it and the result can be a very dynamic looking vehicle. The kit will be sold as a starter set with head and tail and two body segments, the minimum needed for propulsion (of course). Then extra segments will be sold as expansion sets, so you can make it longer. This is a super heavy version with six segments
I went a little overboard! The kit hit a few bumps in production so it's back to the drawing board on some aspects of it, but I am hoping that I can get the first sets into the market by March. Anyway, here are some looks at it. Enjoy.

I think I might be the only person in the world who likes weird stuff like this. But I wanted the Stikks to have a fighting vehicle that's really different. I just couldn't see a bug in the cupola of a tank. |

Will you stop tempting me away from 28mm sci-fi, or do a special offer on 15mms or something! That bug is brilliant. |

If I ever have any disposable income again, Khurasan's gonna get such a whacking great order someone's going to end up with a hernia on the way to the post office

Stikks? Where are those found at? I really want to get more Shark-kin before I go into building a bug army. But man with all the bugs out there, I might hold off finishing my Shark-kin army. |

Wow – this and a handful of 15mm barbarian-types and I can finally wargame Jack Vance's "The Killing Machine!" Very nice! |

I WANT ONE!!!!! I think I might be the only person in the world who likes weird stuff like this. Not by a long shot Jon. I'm thinking three of these. I have a thing about ordering vehicles in threes! Jeff |

But Jeff with this you can just get a dozen body segments and have one GIGANTIC Skuttler! That would actually be pretty cool

But Jeff with this you can just get a dozen body segments and have one GIGANTIC Skuttler! Now you have me thinking about bad things with magnets . . . . . Jeff |

Reminds me very much a the Umbaran crawler tank that made an appearance in The Clone Wars series. Except, I think I like the Stikk design a little better. Looks much lower tech, and as I often say
.am a big fan of lower and Mid-tech. link |

Its wonderful and the idea of magnetising it so its variable is such a good one. You could with a little work build a great land train style vehicle with it. |

That looks cool if I am not totally convinced about legs. One wicked centipede tank ! |

Once again I am defeated by a talented 15mm sculptor and will submit to the purchase of said tank. |
