Do you enjoy a cup o' Joe while wargaming? |
McWong73 | 09 Jan 2012 10:23 p.m. PST |
Hell yes, my beverage of choice for all things gaming and painting. |

I would, if it didn't interfere with my beer and whiskey. |
The Dial Dude | 09 Jan 2012 10:44 p.m. PST |
Never touched the stuff. I do not drink anything served warm or hot. Anything I drink has to be cold or well, I don't drink it. |

Only if it's a venti, half-whole milk, one quarter 1%, one quarter non-fat, extra hot, split quad shots (1 1/2 shots decaf, 2 1/2 shots regular), no foam latte, with whip, 2 packets of splenda, 1 sugar in the raw, a touch of vanilla syrup and 3 short sprinkles of cinnamon

Tea, but it's a pain when painting. I have to put the tea and water pot well away from each other. Good I use acrylics these days

Hell yes! It is by coffee that I set my mind in motion. It is by coffee that thoughts acquire speed
.. Cheers Derek |

I drink almost nothing but coffee, all the time. Probably explains a lot about me! |
SECURITY MINISTER CRITTER | 10 Jan 2012 3:04 a.m. PST |
Painting yes, gaming not so often. |
ZULUPAUL | 10 Jan 2012 3:06 a.m. PST |
Usually water while gaming
coffee while painting |
000 Triple Aught | 10 Jan 2012 3:09 a.m. PST |
Coffee would be ok, but I prefer beer. Coffee puts too much of an "edge" on
good cold beer OTOH, knocks the edge off and is more relaxing (for me at least). |

No, I don't usually drink anything while gaming (apart from slurping from my aluminium water bottle if it is a long game), too much chance of spillage. I do however like coffee, a pint of freshly ground in the morning. |

Tea, a wet, a brew, cuppa, rosie-lee, beige gold, always Tea. John |
Thomas Nissvik | 10 Jan 2012 3:52 a.m. PST |
Oh, yes. Jockes game room is cold even in the summer. Hot coffee goes a long way towards keeping gamers alert and hypothermia-free. |

I think it's rude not to share a drink. Coffee is my most common choice as I'm usually back behind the wheel of car soon enough. Phil |

Painting always, gaming never – mostly because I game at night, paint in the morning. |

Coffee in the morning, not at games. Usually nothing at a game; perhaps, infrequently, a Heineken

Yes, about 3 in an evening, whatever I'm doing! |
avidgamer | 10 Jan 2012 5:16 a.m. PST |
It's either coffee or beer depending how far I have to drive home after the game is over. |
Grelber | 10 Jan 2012 5:44 a.m. PST |
No. I go from work to the Thursday evening game, with a quick stop at a fast food place for dinner, so I usually end up with a Dr. Pepper to sip for the first hour or so. Besides, I'm not a coffee person. Grelber |
galvinm | 10 Jan 2012 5:48 a.m. PST |
No, no, no. Tea drinker. Never could get into coffee. Even with 24 years military. I do enjoy a cup of coffee on a cold winter morning when out in the field, tho. Perfect way to warm the hands. |
TopKick | 10 Jan 2012 5:57 a.m. PST |
Coffee, it is my life blood. Many a thermal mug has been left at friends houses after a good game. I'm always drinking coffee while rolling the dice
brings me luck. |
M C MonkeyDew | 10 Jan 2012 6:04 a.m. PST |
Coffee is key. Not just for war gaming either :) |
Steve Johnson | 10 Jan 2012 6:11 a.m. PST |
I used to, but was diagnosed a Type 2 diabetic. Only was I can drink coffee is really sweet, and the artificial sweetners just don't do it, so I cut out coffee altogether. Steve |

Yes One morning, early man started the long and arduous quest for civilization. How he did it without a cup of coffee to get started is beyond me. |

Tea, please. Milk, no sugar. Don't forget the biscuits! |
mbsparta | 10 Jan 2012 6:48 a.m. PST |
Coffee and an early morning game, it doesn't get much better thant that. Except maybe beer and a late night game. Caesar preferred Cafe Mochas. He was a Starbucks fan. He had a venti mocha when he crossed the Rubicon on 1/10/49 BC. He knew how to wargame. Mike B |

Yes, definitely. Though I usually drink coffee while doing almost anything. Since most of my gaming is at home I also will on occasion enjoy a nice dark lager. |
