Good day all – I have posted a few pictures of some painted "Red Faction" 15mm infantry from Khurasan on our blog:

I believe these infantry were previously known as "Nova Respublik" (or perhaps still are…). At any rate, the figures from Khurasan are fabulous – I hope they keep up the great work!

As always, thanks for looking.

Cheers,

Greg

Great looking stuff!

I wasn't that keen on these minis when I first saw them on Khurasan's site, but your lovely paintjob has me second guessing!

Nice work. The review on the QRF BMP toward the bottom of that blog post sorta reaffirms my fears of QRF. Looks like they get no order from me still.

I've got your OPFOR right here Greg:

I think the Khurasan Exterminators are great sci-fi US troops. Fulda Gap in the near future anyone? evil grin

The BMP-3 is an old model now (one of my first). I'll get Chas to check the mould. The BMP-2/2D is much better.

great stuff

The troops look excellent and you did a great job bringing the minis to life. I like the BMP 3 and I think it turned out rather well.

I also wanted to add that Geoff is working to add/improve images to his online store.

Check out Tacobat's blog for his QRF paint project.

Tim is doing an excellent job. He is away at the moment, but we hope to add another batch of good photos once he gets back, and to get more new stuff to him throughout the year.

He did also paint one of our BMP-3s, shown here next to a 28mm Imprint model:

@ Tgunner – that OPFOR looks fabulous. Where is the mech walker in the middle from?

@ Geoff – thanks for posting the pictures; those paint jobs are certainly fabulous; I have, in fact, posted another order to QRF to add some BMP-3s to mechanize my Red Faction guys, and I have ordered a BMP-2D as well, hoping to make it a command vehicle of some kind. I do want to acknowledge that you take criticism constructively, and I also want to recognize that you guys have put a tremendously wide range of stuff out there.

Any chance you could share what the dimensions are for that base under the 15mm BMP-3?

Thanks!

Greg

I do try to.

hoping to make it a command vehicle of some kind

Other choice is to look at something like the BMP-1 KSh (komandno-shtabnaya), with it's long radio mast, as inspiration for a BMP-3 KSh version

And getting bigger.

Any chance you could share what the dimensions are for that base under the 15mm BMP-3?

Ah, that's one of Tim'sso not sure. Looks like about 80mm x40mm
