A very nice report of a thrilling action. I always like to balance out the battles in the SpanAm War, but it looks like things were a bit too balanced :) I am not familiar with Naval Thunder, but it seems they were pretty generous to the Spanish ACīs. Are the ratings fair in your opinion? |

Well I just posted the link to the description, and as the author I'd say, yeah, they're fair. :) Sounds like from the battle report the players were forgetting a penetration modifier that would have made a difference. Also everything in Naval Thunder is mathematically derived stat-wise, so there's not a lot of subjective interpretation. If it seems the Spanish did better than expected I'd chalk it up to 1st time players and/or poor tactics on the part of the Americans. Generally Naval Thunder produces chillingly accurate results in actual historical matchups. |
