Hi guys, I thought I would share this one with you to see if you reach the same conclusion as the Battle Reporter crew. We're running a poll to decide on the best cavalry unit in the game* (just plain old vanilla cavalry units, not monstrous cavalry or war beasts). * on a point-for-point basis. We had 14 entries and we're asking our members to select 5 of them each :- Dark Riders Knights of the Realm Empire Outriders Kislev Griffon Legion Chaos Knights Black Knights Empire Knights Blood Knights Cold One Knights Boar Boyz Big Uns 30 Inner Circle Knights Pistoliers Goblin Wolfriders Bretonnian Grail Knights (this entrant was very specific about the 30 part !) How would you rank them ? I'll be releasing our results on my blog in about a week, for anyone interested :- best WHFB cavalry unit Actually, I can copy them in here to see how we compare.

I think Blood Knights cost too many points to rank in the top slot.

Well that may be but they are the most butt kicking cavalry in the game. my list: Blood knights Chaos knights Cold One Knights Boar Boyz Big Uns Grail Knights. If I had to pick my favourites it would be: Kislev Griffon Knights Chaos knights Cold One Knights Pistoliers Grail Knights

My faves: Savage Orc Boar Boyz and Empire Knights of the White Wolf (I have an uncomfortable attachment to big hammers). Of course, the last game I played was circa 2003. I'm assuming the rules have changed a bit.

Farstar – lol :) carne68, nobody nominated Dragon Princes, we had 14 nominations, some getting nominated more than once. I'm not sure what happened to the DPs. For anyone following this, the final winner was (dramatic drum roll….) The Empire Pistoliers which nicked the prize from the Kislev Griffon Legion and Chaos Knights.
