Amazing paintjobs!
Lots of error messages though on the post.

I know, couldn't figure out which bit was superflous in code terms. However no pics are missing.

How would you say these compare to other lines such as Baccus?

NoLongerAMember08 Jan 2012 11:02 a.m. PST

Sizewise they are a good match.

Quality wise it isn't for me to say as I have a stake in Rapier.

In fact with things like Ancient British we advise you mix them to give you even more variety and poses.

Very nicely done. I need to get some Rapier minis in hand.

Say – you don't suppose Rapier might do a set of 6mm gladiators someday, do you? I've lobbied Peter Berry and he begged off with a disappointing but very logical argument about there being a small market for them, since you only need a few. All too true, but I still hope for SOMEBODY other than Irregular to do some.

I've got some Rapier Romans that fit in very happily with Baccus. Not much to chose between the two in size or quality in my opinion. Use both for more variety!

Yeah, Rapier work well with Baccus. I own a bunch of Rapier figs and need more. They are very nice figs and deserve more attention. Their pricing is also nice!

Thanks,

John

Rapier infantry does match well with Baccus. Surprisingly their cavalry is smaller than Baccus and actually matches well with Heroics and Ros.

I have quite a few of their figures and have mixed units of American Civil War Baccus and Rapier infantry. Rapier has a greater variety of poses and mixing them with the Baccus figures makes the units look less like a group of robots.

Those Egyptians look great!

I have a mix of Rapier and Baccus for my Seleukids. I love the Rapier models – I think they are much better quality than Baccus for the Hellenistic stuff and certainly would use Rapier pikemen rather than Baccus any day of the week (note that other ranges of Baccus are absolutely superb, especially the Mahdists… but I ramble).

However, much as I love them, I have an outstanding order with Rapier of well over a month with no responses to emails querying its status.

Bit too small for me but looking very nice with the good paint jobs.

Really like the Rapier stuff…Had a few problems fitting the guys into the Chariot but a bit of filing solved that problem

this is my effort
