Well, OK, its a conversion article from Irrational Number Line Games on converting computer mice (trackballs, in this case) into giant squids. Three different approaches are covered, including one steampunk squidmarine vehicle. Here's a teaser of one

For a second there, after reading the title, I thought there was going to be a can of Mountain Dew involved. |

Looks cool. I wonder if it would be possible to paint the giant eye in a way that doesnt looks goofy. |

As a long time Skaven player I was expecting a deceased rodent to be involved. Along with possibly a plate of calamari. The computer mouse never occurred to me, but looks great! |

Thanks, all. Doing these is tons of fun. @cloudcaptain : I know what you mean about keeping the packaging. In my PCDSS (Post-Christmas Discount Shopping Spree), I got the Rackham Confrontation starter (well, two). It comes with a piece of terrain (a low hilltop ruin) that had a formed plastic cover. It was like i got two of them in the box. @Cherno : I like how that trackball looks as an eye, even though it is in no way realistic. It would probably make a better giant multifaceted bug eye
hmmmm
But, yes, you can paint up the ball. I did it for a giant fish a couple of years ago.
