It appears to be intended to be an M163 Vulcan Air Defense System, but it lacks the front and side floatation sponsons that were part of the M741 carrier vehicle.

Thanks for the info, I found more info and a picture here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M163_VADS
I was hoping to use this as an APC for my Baltic imagi-nation but I'm not sure now. Maybe if I replace the turret with another.

It's an M-113. You can putty in the hole and paint over it and there you go.
