Which of these Osprey/Ambush Alley rulesets are you more likely to play? |

I play both, but I do like FOF better. |
Chef Lackey Rich | 02 Jan 2012 7:24 p.m. PST |
Both, but TW is getting more table time since it came out. |

Force on Force, if only because I already own those. |
Dynaman8789 | 02 Jan 2012 7:26 p.m. PST |
Force on Force, since I rarely play scifi

BTW, I Wholly endorse the FoF expansion "Cold War Gone Hot". It covers the "What if WWIII had kicked off in 1986! It has scenarios that cover the usual Fulda gap/Spetznaz stuff, but it also includes "Movie scenarios" like "Red Dawn" "Ice Station Zebra" and the events alluded to in Escape from New York when "Snake" Plissken and a special forces team inserted into Leningrad! My son gave me that expansion and the Ambush Valley expansion covering Vietnam for Christmas! (My daughter gave me a lovely new Pipe Stand and my wife got my 4 tins of Frogmorton's Tobacco! |
nazrat | 02 Jan 2012 7:45 p.m. PST |
I play both, plus Ambush Valley (my favorite). They are all superb, though! |
Little Big Wars | 02 Jan 2012 7:49 p.m. PST |
Force on Force (mostly because the print rulebooks and their accompanying Elheim models have landed in my lap); I've got Star Army for the stuff Tomorrow's War was intended to cover (will probably pick up the book anyways). |
Joep123 | 02 Jan 2012 7:56 p.m. PST |
I will play Tomorrows War more than FoF. Most of my gaming buddies don't want to play present day moderns, but love SciFi. |

For me it is "Tomorrow's War". Besides I have way more Sci-Fi minis than modern

Tomorrow's War, but I own both. I just got done putting the cards for both of them in plastic sleeves this evening. I have more SciFi than moderns, which is the only reason for ranking Tomorrow's War higher. Jeff |
Tgunner | 02 Jan 2012 8:27 p.m. PST |
I play TW more simply because I have more Sci-Fi painted up. That'll probably change as the year goes on and I get my Brits and US troops painted up. |
Mooseworks8 | 02 Jan 2012 9:13 p.m. PST |
Like both but I would pick TW. |
Cerberus0311 | 02 Jan 2012 9:39 p.m. PST |
Why are we being forced to choose? Should be a poll. A) FoF B) TW C) Both D) TMP has to many polls. |
The G Dog | 02 Jan 2012 9:40 p.m. PST |
Tomorrow's War, just 'cause I've got lots of sci-fi. |
timlillig | 02 Jan 2012 9:58 p.m. PST |
Tomorrow's War- I'm not interested in gaming moderns. I might pick up the Force on force books for scenario ideas though. |
Barks1 | 02 Jan 2012 10:24 p.m. PST |
FoF scenarios using SF figures (Heresy!) |

Tomorrow's War. I have some horrible scenarios I want to try out, I just need to write them up properly. |
WillieB | 03 Jan 2012 4:05 a.m. PST |
Tomorrow's War but some of our clubmembers have been buying modern armies in 15mm so I guess FOF will be played soon(ish) |
TamsinP | 03 Jan 2012 4:22 a.m. PST |
Tomorrow's War for me, mainly because I game SF but not Moderns at the moment |

PatrickWR | 03 Jan 2012 7:00 a.m. PST |
Tomorrow's War — you can strip out the SF elements and run moderns just fine, if needed, using the base rulebook. |

ComradeCommissar | 03 Jan 2012 12:45 p.m. PST |
FoF – Ambush Valley and Cold War Gone Hot. I don't own TW, but I'd consider getting it if I ever do sci-fi again, though I have a well used copy of Star Grunt 2. |
Uesugi Kenshin | 03 Jan 2012 1:32 p.m. PST |
TW more, but still interested in FoF. |

Both, but only a few games so far. I've also played WWII with 1st Edition FoF. I bought the WWII Fog of War and Asset card decks when they were available. I believe there are plans for an updated book for WWII, which I'm looking forward to. |
