Thinking of trying steampunk skirmish on my gaming group and was looking for recommendations for 28mm figs. I've already got my eye on several packs from Lead Adventure.

Any other character-ful figs? And rule suggestions?

Thanks.

Pretty much anything from the Malifaux line. They are a trifle expensive but worth every penny!

Fiendish Fabrications – I have some and they are pretty nice.

Don't forget bits and pieces from Privateer Press's lines, and Ironclad Miniatures. Also Jeff Valent's (now oop) and Reaper's Deadland's lines.

Oh, also check out Artizan's Thrilling Tales line, especially things like the air pirates and the Immortal Battalion. There is also Eureka's Pax Limpopo line to poke around in.

Steve Jackson Games has a nice one-off set of 8 or so. Includes two steam-powered mechanical men and one steam-powered mechanical cat…

In addition to the above suggestions, some of Ramshackle Games' stuff is very steam-y:

For five pounds sterling I ordered the set just for Mr. Sniketty. The Imperial Lord and the steampunk characters were simply bonus. There is also some other good steampunk stuff available from them. Particularly these two items:

Victoria Lamb's stuff is awesome. It depends on what you are looking for, though.

Largely ignored, but with potential (the 'Castle Falkenstein' like fantasy element of the background can be ignored):

"In the Eccentric Scientists club Ingrid Rangvaldottir with her Sun Sword rifle is the main sniper and fire support. She is a Troll who invented a way to forge the fiery passion that drives most Trolls into a deadly weapon. Her Mirror Servants allow her to draw line of fire around corners by deflecting the Sun Sword beam off their mirrors."
