No idea of what to do with the metal / plastic bits in the boxes but I like the lock to hold the trays in place.

I bought one of these a few years ago intending to use it for a bits box. It's still in the kitchen cupboard where it proves useful, holdinge xactly what I need for 101 odd jobs.

Put them in the little plastic bags your figures come in. That looks like a very handy product. Thanks for bringing it to attention.

I've been using two very similar tackle boxes (one of these: link )that I found at walmart as bits boxes for a few years now, it beats the hell out of my old "30 loose ziplocks in cardboard box" method.
