I have been working on these for a while now and am almost done -- A buddy suggested I paint some different colors for civilian buildings and leave the military type building grey. Now that I have made molds of the little tid bits to go on buildings I am going to sell these off as they where tests to see what could be done and if there is a demand. Starting by march at Recruits Con I should have painted examples and colors to choose from as well as desert themed buildings. -- Working on doors for 20mm and 28mm designs as well. Basically customer will be able to choose size – color and door options as well as a few other things. Pricing to be determined and more than likely only offered painted. Prices will be around what others ask for unpainted building of similar size -- This is on eof those things most people could do themselves but never seem to get around to it. Here is a link to folder with more images link
Also the 2 foot by 2 foot tiles that buildings are shown on in phoots will be offered for sale as well -- the are textured flocked made from expanded PVC 3mm thick – again options for colors and flock and will be around 15 a tile so a 4 by 4 would be priced around 60$ and 120 for a 8 by 8. This is a great table option for those that have limited space to store terrain -- will offer in 2x2 foot tiles and can do other sizes suck as 2x4 foot or 1x1 foot tiles. More to come on this by Origins as I hope to attend and have display samples and a few sets to sell. For me Hand made terrain has always been what makes me the most money at shows due to my very friendly pricing. |

Nicely done. Have you cut a lot of those junction boxes down? I've not been able to find any that can pass well for single story buildings in 15mm. -Eli |

So we have pricing for the tiles (which I don't need) but not the buildings? Those I'd be willing to know more about and give a few a try on my table. |

Very nice. Electrical junction boxes here in the UK are nowhere near as interseting. |

Honestly was thinking of doing the buildings on ebay and see what happens -- If someone wanted them all would sell for for 200 shipped The small ones would sell for 9.99 any color or 7.00 unpainted and then the larger ones would be 20-30 each depending. Now these would only be for US only as shipping would be high due to not fitting in flat rate boxes. I will hammer out prices with next batch as they will all be very uniform on the base model and then upgrades. |

Junction boxes are the best. I have painted up a dozen or so in different colors and strategically glued thin metal bases (3/4" X 3/4") to them on the "first floor" on all 4 sides. I have then cut plasticard in 1" X 2" sections and attached magnets with adhesive backing to the plasticard. Then glue "signs"/"placards" etc to the platicard such as "Joe's Bar" or "Hab Unit 06" and you have a whole variety of buildings that you can switch out using the magnet backed plasticard and the metal bases. One game it can be an apartment building the next a research facility (or bar, grocery store, etc.) Even better, I can stack my junction boxes as high as I need to between games. |

I was just in my local Home Depot and noticed that several of the smaller types of "old work" electrical boxes like the ones used here are on blow out. The smallest were 27 cents each. |

Checked Lowe's when I was there. All of them were too tall. Back on the hunt. On positive news, I got in the double story one with that large patio or landing pad. Very cool. The way the floors fit with the buildings is just great. Was worth the the $$ in my book. |
