I ma looking for rules that can handle 50-150 28mm figures. to include vehicles. And it would be nice if there was a Weird war component for later….

Try Disposable Heroes – Coffin for 7 Brothers; I think it's marketed for platoon level, but the number of troops you mentioned would work for it too.

DH from Iron Ivan or IABSM from Too Fat Lardiez as the others have mentioned are both good.
We are also trying Kampfruppe Normandy which seems to work okay too.
Trouble with any of these with vehicles in 28mm is the need for BIG tables :-)

… where would you table large enough for a company level game at 28mm to not look silly? I feel weird enough having 70 Imperial Guardsmen when I play 40k, or just use them with another ruleset.

Any set which uses group activation, so another vote for IABSM.

I'd hate to move 150 individual figures by hand though.

Force o Force, really? I am a big Ambush Alley fan but I don't see it.

Thanks,

John
