I was wondering if anyone has modelled the Fort at Chitral?

If so, some pictures would be appreciated.

Compliments of the season to all.

there was a how-to-build Chitral fort article in an old wargames magazine. Will try to dig it out.
Wargames Illustrated I think.

Michael Barthorp, "The North-West Frontier," pages 104-106 has a description and an interior photo of the fort at Chitral.

Ian Weekley, "Buildings for the Military Modeller," has a generic Afghan hill fort in 25mm.

Ian Weekley built this Arab fort, broadly similar in, 15mm:

Here's a model I made a few years ago – not actually Chitral, but a general NWF hillfort. I have now made this model three times, for different customers. One day I'll make one for myself!

Wargames Illustrated #35 (pg 44) has an article "Chitral Watchtower."

MJS,

Methinks that fort would work for the Howie-tat clan to attack – with no apologies to the dread Herbertians!

A Swing and a hit – fantastic images, Captain Swing. I would not relish climbing that ladder into the rear of the tower!

Are there any options in 10mm? Lancashire has a French Foreign Legion fort in that size, but it isn't quite right for Chitral.
