Merry Christmas! And as a present from Salute, here is the first picture of the 2012 Salute figure.

It has been sculpted by the very talented Jacques-Alexandre Gillois of miniaturestudio.net/, and it's themed on the end of the 13th B'ak'tun of the Mayan Long Count Calendar.

And you know what – I am really excited about seeing a few painted examples in 2012 – I think this is going to be a real painters' dream!
