Revisiting an old period, though I do like Black Powder I do think that Fire and Furia Francese capturesw the 'feel' of the period just that little bit better. What do you guys think? Check out the blog: link

Wonderfully painted figures! I agree with you, using a variant of Fire and Fury I think is the "easiest" way to go. Fire and Fury are great rules, easy to learn, easy to teach in convention settings. What figures are you using? I don't see that mentioned on the blog post. Looks like your friend Scotty is using Outpost. Are you as well? Keep us updated on this project! |

I've played FP w/ BlackPowder and quite enjoyed it. |

I was using a FnF variant that I created for the FPW back when they were first released. I really like what the guys have done with creating all the later 19th Century variants and scenarios for them. Lately I have been using my 1/72 stuff and using my time tested favorite Field of Battle. Exceptional set of rules! Thanks, John |

Cheer guys, yes Darryl the figures are Outpost (though the ones in the picture above happen to be some old Mini Figs I had lying around). There are better sculpted figures out there but they are fine when painted up and best of all they cover the whole range, and I mean everything both Imperial and Republican. I'll add this info to the blog. All the best for Xmas lads, Dave |
