I've just come across the Imperial Roman slingers from Warlord Games and really like the figures.

The question is to change these more for fantasy what heads could I swap onto the bodies given the arms are human?

You need to go to either Black Hat or Black Tree and get the former Dwarf Legionaries, problem solved! Or the old 100 Kingdoms Legionary Apes….

are you looking to turn them into another race?
you can get plenty of loose heads off ebay from GW and other makers also look for cheap D&D figures to clip the head off.
