OK, so here are the first two elements of my Libyan Amazon DBA army. After looking at the pics, I realize I forget to hit them with some DullCote to take off the shine…

They are Shadowforge Tribals with the heads of Wargames Factory plastic Amazons.

I think the "ladies" should have a shine or "glow" about them :).

I got the "Amazon" part. Just curious, what makes them Libyan? Good paint job and photos BTW.

There is very questionable archaeological evidence of women who fought nude with greek-style helmets from the general area of early Libya. So I took the idea and ran with it to create this army. They will be fielded as a I/7a Early Libyan DBA army, built according to the 3.0 lists (more Wb, less Ps) as an opposition force to my future New Kingdom Egyptians.

This was all info that should have been in my first post, but I was using my daughter's computer and it was giving me fits!
