Well, it seems that the Dwarft had them.

In the last edition I would have given the nod to the Empire mortar which was capable of devastating T3 armies and still doing a pretty good number on T4 armies. A hit with that thing could seriously mess up a whole unit with a single shot.

Dwarf artillery is pretty fieresom though. I've faced it countless times and it often dictates how my Ogres will fight.

I do not agree… Death Rocket wins every time.

There was a game long ago (might have been 6th edition) Where my Dogs of War took on the Empire. The Empire player had a mortar and the player was excellent at guessing range. First shot by the mortar lands smack in the middle of my Ricco's Republican Guard unit of 30 pikemen. He kills most of the unit which, of course broke after such a devastating hit. So my money is on the Empire mortar although the Chaos Hell Cannon gets a close second in my book.
