Are your castle doors, gates and walls a little too bare?

If so, check out some of the stuff that's out there:

And there are lots and lots of other such options among stamped brass findings for you to use.

Enjoy!

Oooh, nice find.

I just put in an order to dec out a Stygian Temple that would draw a "Crom!" out of Conan hisself!

I've been trying to push my Germanic castle project down the road and some of those ornaments look quite wonderful.

I'm actually looking for some religous statuary to decorate some of the gates and walls. Saints, martyres etc.

Any suggestions?

Bob,

Have you seen some of the statuary figures done by Preiser?

Bob,

Or . . . how about some small but realistic chess pieces, like these (Renaissance or Medieval)?

Excellent suggestions Dan! Thanks so much for that. When I was in Germany recently, the castles were often highly decorated with religious statuary so finding something suitable for my WIP was important. The Preiser figs look like the best choice!

Glad they are of help to you guys.

Personally, I don't have need of those specific decorations at the moment. So my excitement wasn't because I had found stuff I was after.

However, the moment I accidentally came across the first ones I realized many others here might find them useful or, at the very least, interesting.
