Excellent work and good highlighting of the gun carriage. I like OG15s variety of poses among the artillery crew and the extra barrels they supply.

I have Prussians and Austrians but never took photos of the artillery.

Cheers,
Robert

Extremely nice work! I have many units of OGM 15mmSYW to serve along with my 15mm Minifigs. IMHO, one of OGM's best ranges!

Nice work Vasiliy.
May be you could increase the quality with an extra white or light grey brush to highlight the colors.
Basing seems to match Might & Reason rule, am I right ?
It would be great also if you add google translator on your site.
Here's the code I use one mine

<div id="google_translate_element">

<script>
function googleTranslateElementInit() {
new google.translate.TranslateElement({
pageLanguage: 'fr'
}, 'google_translate_element');
}
</script><script src="//translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script>

Thank you all for the high appreciation of my work. I will try to please all his work and more:)

Thanks for the advice from the Google-translator. It seems like I managed:)

As for extra highlightening – I'll try to do it on the infantry, but was not sure that I shall remain pleased with the end result.
Although it is likely to impact my work with 28mm miniatures. I did not want them to do too bright, and tried to keep some historical darkness.

Please forgive me for my very bad English. I'm pretty easy to read on it, but very badly know how to write correctly (not to mention spoken English – speak, I get worse than writing). :))) Rescued by Google Translator.

About the game rules – this is not M&R, although I am familiar with them and even have an experience of 2-3 games on them. Unfortunately I did not like the rules because of their strong simplicity.
2.5 years ago when we searched for the club rules on the SYW, we acquired rules Angus Konstam's "Die Kreigkunst" edinburghwargames.com/Die% 20kriegskunst.htm.
Translated them into Russian and played until last autumn.
As experience accumulates, we began to feel that the rules do not quite correctly reflect the game events. This is due to the larger scale of the game (1:40) and incorrect recalculation tables musket / artillery fire.
DKK are the "daughter" of "General de Brigade" and with the release deluxe edition of GdB we have adapted themselves to the rules of the era of Napoleon on the SYW.
Scale 1:20 seemed to be too difficult to play in the 28mm scale, and we started working with 15mm figures.Games have become more realistic and beautiful. :)

To get that look from 15mm is amazing, you are very good at what you are doing, very nice figures.

These look terrific; I saw them on your blog. You're brought out the character in the figs – who is the manufacturer?

I'm a 28MM Napoleonic gamer, but Vasily, this is truly nice work. I'm impressed.

Vasiliy20 Jan 2012 11:19 a.m. PST

Thank you, Paul, for your kind words. I paint these figures try to put a piece of my soul. Perhaps this is why I have obtained figures for what they have:)
I also started with napoleoniс. Played 2 years according to the rules, authored by B. Quarry. Then they started the club with friends to play by the rules of SYW, "Die Kreigkunst" using 28mm figures.1:40 scale units was not satisfied and we made General de Brigade Deluxe under DKK + added rules for sea battles (Form Line of Battle) and are now preparing rules for the campaign.And we are left with napoleoniс somehow in limbo. Let's see how our lives unfold. Maybe go back to it later …

Please forgive my poor English. I studied it in school and now I write with the help of Google translator.

With best wishes,
Vasily / St. Petersburg (Russia)

Wow! Very very nice. Congratulations.
These pictures remind me that there are several prussian and austrian units in 15mm waiting to be painted.

Vasiliy13 Mar 2012 11:10 a.m. PST

Thank you, Fritz!
I've finished with painting generals and Sunday I want to photograph them and put it in my blog.
