This is a very interesting wargame about WW2 German vs British fighters on May 29th 1940 over the beach of Dunkerque.
Unfortunally the page is in french, but you could follow the action or used tranlator.

Very nice photos. I know the British troops were evacuated in pretty much anything that would float, but wow! :)

I like the looks of the game. Could only pick out about every 6th word, but looks like a great engagement.

MacSparty, most of the BEF and French Army were pulled out of Dunkirk on Royal Navy destroyers. There were many different types of civilian craft used, but their efforts have been enhanced, starting around June 5, 1940, for public appeal to "everyone doing thier part".

That is not to say that civilian vessels were not used and pulled troops out, just that the majority of the risk and troops saved were done by the Royal Navy pulling up along side the Mole.

Well…the air game looks nice…..but….the ships are….from where? Dystopian wars maybe? Only need targets and I guess they used what they had on hand…..but really? LOL! Also, looks like they're using "Check your six" rules I think.

As you said Dave, they used what they had on hand for the ships, but the air combat inho is great.
