Played another battle with Squadron Forward. This time in the Solomons 1943. As always scenario can be used with any tactical air combat game. Also have 2 pictures from my visit to HAC in London.
Found here: Platoonforward.blogspot.com

Enjoy

Joe

Great report. I've never heard of the rules "Squadron Forward". Are they a home made set?

I'd better earn my beer and copy what I said in another thread:
"Squadron Forward is not out yet, but as I understand it, it will be the air-war equivalent of the ground-war Platoon Forward by the same author.

The TFL product info pretty much sums up what PF does and I assume SF will do the same. Good for solo campaigns, helpful for regular campaigns, a wonderful scenario creation system and great simply for the inspiration."

(to explain, Oddball, I am a freelance marketer for Joe Legan MegaCorp Inc, and I earn one beer a year)

Oddball,

Thomas is right about his marketing. Squadron Forward is a set of campaign rules that you use with your tactical set of air combat rules. It should be out early next year.
It is ideal for solitaire play in that it generates the mission and opposiiton for you and helps you follow your pilots career as described in the blog.
Thomas, doubled your salary to 2 beers!

Thanks

Joe
