I can't recommend this book enough. An interesting part of the Campaign that most of us don't know anything about. Very readable and yet very detailed and interesting accounts of Gordon and his expediton to possibly capture Harrisburg. |

Already have it. Read it. Enjoyed it. Part of history not often discussed. Explains a lot about the following battle at Gettysburg and why things happened the way they did there. |

A great buy. Very rare these days to find historians digging into the untrodden ground of major battles in military history and that's exactly what Scott Mingus has done. |
