I found a nice website with Lasalle scenario's, but as I want to play Age of Eagles I was wondering if there is an easy way to convert them? What is the key for converting Lassale bases to numbers, and these back to AoE bases? link |

Hmm, I don't know enough about Lasalle to compare. AoE works out to be @ 2 bases per Battlion ("paper strength", 1 stand is @ 360 men). IIRC Lasalle is 4 Battalions per stand. |

Lasalle uses 4 bases to make up a battalion; about 4 battalions to a brigade. So, for Lasalle 4 bases of say French is approx. 720 men; and 6 bases of Austrians is approx. 1100 men. These 4 and 6 bases are then referred to as units for game purposes. Lasalle approximates numbers. |

Hi Lasalle is a rulest for tactical play whereas AoE (like Napoleon's Battles) is for grand tactical. In lasalle, the units are like battalions. The scale is very lax Regards Rafa |

Having both sets of rules, I can say they are different horses for different courses |
